O aumento da competitividade neste setor exige que as empresas atuantes neste segmento invistam em métodos e técnicas eficientes para executar o gerenciamento de seus projetos, de modo que se encerrem satisfatoriamente conforme planejado. Este trabalho aborda a aplicação dos conceitos e técnicas de gestão de projetos do Guia PMBOK® (Project Management Body of Knowledge) para o gerenciamento do Escopo, Cronograma e Custos em um empreendimento imobiliário em Volta Redonda. A aplicação prática permitiu verificar a funcionalidade dos métodos e técnicas utilizados e, com base nos resultados, propor um padrão de gerenciamento para projetos semelhantes, objetivando a redução dos riscos e o sucesso do empreendimento. Abstract The civil construction industry is of a great importance for a country’s economy and development. The increase of competitiveness in this sector requires that active companies in this segment invest in efficient techniques and methods to manage their projects, so they can close them satisfactorily as planned. This assignment addresses the application of concepts and management techniques from PMBOK® (Project Management Body of Knowledge) Guide for scope, schedule and costs management in a real estate venture in Volta Redonda.
