DIREITO EDUCACIONAL COMO DISCIPLINA FUNDAMENTAL PARA O CURSO DE LICENCIATURA EM PEDAGOGIA

Resumo

Este estudo tem por objetivo analisar e discutir a questão do Direito à educação e a necessidade de incluir o Direito Educacional como disciplina nos cursos de formação dos profissionais da educação. Trata-se de uma pesquisa quantitativa-descritiva. Foram analisadas as ementas das disciplinas que compõem o currículo do Curso de Pedagogia das faculdades da região do Médio Paraíba Fluminense, nas modalidades de Educação à Distância (EaD) e presencial. Verificou-se que a disciplina Direito Educacional aparece em apenas um curso presencial, mas que os conteúdos relativos ao tema estão presentes nas ementas de outras disciplinas afins. Concluiu-se que o Direito Educacional não recebe a valorização necessária no campo pedagógico, tendo em vista não ser considerado como fundamental na formação do profissional da educação.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and discuss the issue of the right to education and the need to include educational law as a discipline in the training courses of education professionals. It is quantitative-descriptive research. The significant points of the subjects that make up the curriculum of the Pedagogy Course of the colleges of the Middle Paraíba Fluminense region were analyzed, in the modalities of Distance Education (DE) and regular face to face classes. It was found that the Educational Law discipline appears in only one classroom course, but that the contents related to the theme are present in the significant points of other related subjects. It was concluded that Educational Law studies are not truly valued as it should be in the pedagogical field, considering that it is not considered as fundamental in the professional education formation.
