Resumo
O presente artigo versa sobre os impactos da pandemia da Covid-19 para os trabalhadores informais, tendo em vista que, esse é um tema atual e abrange toda a sociedade. É notável o quanto o setor informal tem ocupado espaço dentro do mercado de trabalho, uma vez que, as oportunidades de empregos formais têm se tornado cada vez menores. Sendo esta uma realidade a ser enfrentada por milhares de brasileiros, surgiu a motivação acerca da temática. Posto isso, busca-se saber quais foram os impactos causados aos trabalhadores informais no contexto pandêmico, visto que suas vidas foram diretamente afetadas pelo novo coronavírus. Assim, tem-se como finalidade conceituar trabalho e trabalho informal, identificar quem são os trabalhadores informais no Brasil e relacionar o trabalho informal com a pandemia causada pela Covid-19. A metodologia utilizada para a elaboração deste trabalho se deu através de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, já o estudo de campo foi do tipo pesquisa de opinião realizada com entregadores que utilizam bicicleta, conhecidos como “bike boys” na cidade de Valença. Ao término dessa reflexão pode-se afirmar que os trabalhadores informais, que não possuem direitos e garantias trabalhistas, como seguro social e serviços assistenciais precisaram manter suas rotinas de trabalho colocando suas vidas em risco.
Abstract
This article deals with the impacts of the pandemic on informal workers, considering that this is a current issue that reaches the entire society. It is remarkable how much space the sector has occupied within the labor market, as formal employment opportunities have become increasingly smaller. Since this is a reality to be faced by thousands of Brazilians, the motivation for the theme has emerged. That said, the aim is to find out what were the impacts caused to informal workers in the pandemic context, as their lives were directly affected by the new coronavirus. Thus, the purpose is to conceptualize "work" and "formal work", identify who are informal workers in Brazil and relate informal work to the pandemic caused by Covid19. The methodology used for the elaboration of this work was done through a bibliographical research, while the field study was of the opinion poll type carried out with delivery men who travel by bicycle, known as bike boys in Valença. At the end of this reflection, it can be said that informal worker who do not have labor rights and guarantees, such as social insurance and assistance services needed to maintain their work routines, putting their lives at risk.
