WOMEN IN THE MALE WORK ENVIRONMENT

Resumo

Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar a inserção das mulheres no mercado de trabalho e identificar fatores que influenciam no relacionamento delas com os homens neste ambiente profissional. A importância deste estudo nos permitirá analisar o este relacionamento no ambiente masculinizado e como elas lidam com as diferenças diárias, como enfrentam os desafios que surgem, e como reagem diante de algumas adversidades. Realizada uma investigação qualitativa, com 4 (quatro) mulheres que atuam como Policiais Civis, com faixa etária de idade de 31 (trinta e um) a 41 (quarenta e um) anos, na Delegacia Policial da Região Médio Paraíba, no Estado do Rio de Janeiro. O instrumento utilizado para a pesquisa é de entrevista semiestruturada na qual poderemos observar e analisar se há fatores como preconceito, como se dá esses relacionamentos e o que elas vêm fazendo para conquistar o espaço no mercado de trabalho.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the insertion of women in the labor market, and to identify factors that influence the relationship of women with men in this work environment. The importance of this study will allow us to analyze the relationship of women to men in a masculinized work environment and how they deal with the differences that occur in everyday life, how they face the challenges that arise, and how they react to some adversities. A qualitative investigation was carried out with 4 (four) women acting as Civil Police, aged between 31 (thirty one) to 41 (forty one) years, at the Police Station of the Middle Paraíba Region, Rio de Janeiro State. of January. The instrument used for the research is a semi-structured interview where we can observe and analyze if there are factors such as prejudice and how men relate to women, and what they have been doing to conquer the space in the job market.
