THE (DES) CONSTRUCTION OF HETERONORMATIVE MASCULINITY AND THE CONSTRUCTION OF NEW MASCULINITIES IN VOLTA REDONDA (2013-2020)

Resumo

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo demonstrar que a masculinidade sofreu transformações impulsionadas por inúmeros fatores (entre eles a pós-modernidade), obrigando as pessoas a procurarem alternativas para as suas vidas. Desta forma, o cuidado do corpo tornou-se um imperativo, uma nova forma de trabalho, interferindo sobremaneira no conceito de masculinidade, de homem dominante, ativo e forte. Essa noção de masculinidade heteronormativa foi se perdendo e possibilitando o surgimento de novas masculinidades. Utilizando entrevistas com homossexuais, em Volta Redonda, que se identificaram com a sigla LGBTQIA+, na faixa etária entre os 18 e 50 anos, coletou-se informações importantes e necessárias para a legitimação da História Oral. As fontes documentais serviram de suporte para a consolidação do debate teórico. Utilizando o conceito de Dispositivo da Sexualidade, Foucault fornece o tripé de sustentação para a pesquisa. Embora o assunto não seja novo, a discussão avança no sentido de aguçar novas percepções.

Abstract

The work aims to demonstrate that masculinity was proposed to increase and then force the factors-modernity, people to seek alternatives as their lives. In this way, the care of the body has become an imperative, a new way of working, interfering greatly with the concept of masculinity, of a dominant, active and strong man. This notion of heteronormative masculinity was more masculinity and will increase the power of masculinity change. Using interviews with homosexuals in Volta Redonda, who identify with LGBTQIA+, in the age group between 18 and 50 years old, important and important information was collected for the legitimation of Oral History. Documentary sources served as support for the consolidation of the theoretical debate. Using the concept of the Device of Sexuality, Foucault offers a sustaining journey for the research. Although the subject is not new, moving forward in the sense of sharpening new discussions.
