TOPICALIZAÇÃO E DESLOCAMENTO À ESQUERDA NA LINGUAGEM ORAL DOS CARIOCAS

TOPICALIZATION AND LEFT DESLOCATION IN THE ORAL LANGUAGE OF CARIOCA

Resumo

Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar duas estratégias distintas de construções de tópico que ocorrem na oralidade dos brasileiros, em especial aos falantes do estado do Rio de Janeiro. Cada grupo tem sua variedade de acordo com sua determinada característica, sendo assim, o objetivo geral é investigar a presença ou não da construção de tópico nos falantes do Rio de Janeiro: Topicalização, que se trata de uma inversão, em que o objeto do verbo é deslocado para o início da oração e deslocamento à esquerda, quando o termo topicalizado é retomado por um pronomecópia. Como objetivo específico exercemos uma análise da variedade culta e popular afim de sabermos como a construção se manifesta em ambas dimensões. Este trabalho investiga se o fenômeno ocorre nas camadas populares, nas quais os indivíduos não conseguem completar a formação escolar básica e também se estende à variedade culta que normalmente é associada às camadas mais altas da pirâmide social, na qual a língua costuma ser usada pelos falantes mais escolarizadas, melhor remunerados e que moram em centros urbanos. Através da comparação de trechos reais de falas entre os contrastes apresentados, podemos perceber se há ou não diferenças. Tendo como base textos de autores como Eunice Pontes, Mônica Tavares Orsini e Sérgio Leitão Vasco, percebemos que este estudo é relevante para apontar aspectos culturais através da sociolinguística e entendermos como a língua se configura nas camadas sociais.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze two distinct strategies of topic constructions that occur in the orality of Brazilians, especially to the speakers of the state of Rio de Janeiro. Each group has its variety according to its particular characteristic, so the general objective is to investigate the presence or not of the topic construction in the speakers of Rio de Janeiro: Topicalization, that it is an inversion, in which the object of the verb is shifted to the beginning of the sentence and Left Deslocation, when the term topicalized is taken up by a pronoun-copy. As a specific objective we carry out an analysis of the cultivated and popular variety in order to know how to construct manifests itself in both dimensions. This work investigates if the phenomenon occurs in the popular comunity in which individuals fail to complete basic school education and also extends to the cultured variety that is usually associated with the higher layers of the social pyramid in which the language is usually used by more educated speakers , better paid and living in urban centers. Through the comparison of actual snippets between the contrasts presented, we can see if there are differences. Based on texts by authors like Eunice Pontes, Mônica Tavares Orsini and Sérgio Leitão Vasco, we realized that this study is relevant to point out cultural aspects through sociolinguistics and to understand how language is configured in the social comunities.we will be able to understand a little more about the standard form of using these pronouns, from the speeches of some people we can then compare the accomplishment of the language with what is prescribed in the grammars and to perceive better the linguistic variations that encompass them.
