ESTUDO DESCRITIVO DAS PRINCIPAIS PATOLOGIAS ENCONTRADAS EM PAVIMENTAÇÕES ASFÁLTICAS DE ESTRADAS DE RODAGEM
DESCRIPTIVE STUDY OF THE MAIN PATHOLOGIES FOUND IN ASPHALT PAVING OF ROAD ROADS
Resumo
A pavimentação flexível é uma estrutura horizontal de múltiplas camadas onde todas sofrem deformação elástica quando aplicado um carregamento sobre a superfície. Apenas 24,1% da superfície pavimentada em extensão rodoviária nacional está em perfeito estado, sendo a restante considerada desgastada ou com alguma forma de patologia. Tais patologias, que podem ocorrer por variadas causas, fazem com que a qualidade das rodovias seja baixa, o que afeta a população de forma não só desagradável mas também nocivamente. As patologias mais comuns são as Fendas, Afundamento, Panela, Desgaste, Ondulação, Escorregamento, Remendo e Exsudação. O conhecimento dos principais defeitos ocorrentes em pavimentação asfáltica e suas possíveis reparações colabora com o aumento do conforto e segurança do usuário da rodovia, além de permitir o prolongamento da vida útil da estrutura de pavimentação.
Abstract
Flexible paving is a horizontal multiple layers structure, where all suffer elastic deformations when weight is applied to the surface. Only 24.1% of the paved surface on a national road extension is perfect, and the res tis being considered worn or with some form of pathology. That pathologies, which can occur for various reasons, cause low quality of the highways, affecting the population in a way that is not only uncomfortably but also in a dangerous way. The most common pathologies are Cracks, Sinking, Pot, Wear, Ripple, Slip, Patch and Exudation. The knowledge of the main defects occurring in asphalt pavement and its possible repairs collaborates with the increase of the comfort and safety of the road user, in addition to allowing the extension of the paving structure's useful life.
