Abstract

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo fazer uma análise da tradução do livro Harry Potter e as Relíquias da Morte, no qual foram analisadas as traduções em que houve perda ou desvio de semântica, a tradução de palavras originais do livro e as traduções voltadas para o contexto sociocultural do público alvo. Além disso, verificar se a tradutora optou por escolher traduções mais literais ou livres e, dessa forma, discutir a questão da visibilidade do tradutor e a que ponto sua autonomia deve intervir no significado do texto original.
