THE PROSECUTION OFFICE AND SOCIAL SERVICE IN THE SURVEYS CARRIED OUT IN LONG STAY INSTITUTIONS FOR THE ELDERLY - CRAAI VOLTA REDONDA
Resumo
Esse estudo tem como principal objetivo analisar a atuação do Serviço Social, junto a 3.ª Promotoria de Tutela Coletiva do Ministério Público frente às vistorias realizadas nas Instituições de Longa Permanência para Idosos no território de abrangência do Centro Regional de Apoio Administrativo Institucional (CRAAI) Volta Redonda. O interesse pelo tema surgiu através da inserção no campo de estágio, no qual através da observação participante, foi possível observar a demanda de vistorias acerca das Instituições de Longa Permanência para Idosos (ILPI’s) e a atuação do assistente social neste sentido. Os métodos de pesquisa utilizados foram a Pesquisa Bibliográfica e Análise Documental, realizada através dos documentos levantados no próprio Ministério Público por meio do Sistema Eletrônico de Informações (SEI), no qual são enviadas as solicitações para o Serviço Social. Este estudo possui relevância social devido ao crescimento da população idosa e a intenção em analisar o trabalho realizado através das vistorias com observação do participante, identificando as irregularidades e os avanços através das normas vigentes.
Abstract
The main objective of this study is to analyze the performance of the Social Service, together with the 3rd Public Prosecutor's Office of Collective Guardianship in the face of inspections carried out in Long-Term Institutions for the Elderly in the territory covered by the Regional Center for Institutional Administrative Support (CRAAI) Volta Redonda. The interest in the topic arose through the insertion in the internship field, where, through participant observation, it was possible to observe the demand for inspections about Long-Term Institutions for the Elderly (ILPI's) and the role of the social worker in this regard. The research methods used were the Bibliographic Research and Document Analysis, carried out through documents collected at the Public Ministry through the Electronic Information System (SEI), through which requests are sent to the Social Service. This study is relevant, because through participant observation, it can be considered that the topic has social relevance, due to the growth of the elderly population and the intention to analyze the work carried out through surveys, where it is possible to identify irregularities and advances, through current regulations.
