PARTNERSHIPS OR LIABILITY? AN ANALYSIS OF THE THIRD SECTOR IN VOLTA REDONDA MUNICIPALITY

Resumo

O presente artigo tem como objetivo traçar uma análise sobre o Terceiro Setor no município de Volta Redonda. O interesse em realizar tal pesquisa surgiu por tratar-se de um tema trabalhado em sala de aula, no 7º período do curso de Serviço Social no Centro Universitário Geraldo Di Biase, possibilitando produtivas discussões sobre o Terceiro Setor. A metodologia utilizada foi a Pesquisa Bibliográfica e a Pesquisa de Opinião com a escala Likert, variando entre discordo totalmente ao concordo totalmente, contendo 5 perguntas. Entende-se que esta pesquisa é de atual relevância para a sociedade, uma vez que demostra os mecanismos utilizados pelo Estado para o cumprimento de seu papel como gestor político, buscando parcerias com o Terceiro Setor. Em relação aos resultados obtidos pode-se perceber nitidamente a importância do Terceiro Setor para a sociedade, e que apesar de não possuir, em sua maioria, significativa estrutura para prestarem um atendimento de qualidade e disponibilidade de recursos para sua efetiva atuação, respeita as legislações a ele destinadas.

Abstract

This article aims to outline an analysis of the Third Sector in the municipality of Volta Redonda. The interest in carrying out such research arose because it was a theme worked on in the classroom, in the 7th period of the Social Service course at the Geraldo di Biase university, enabling productive activities in the Third Sector. The methodology used was the Bibliographic Research and the Opinion Survey with a Likert scale, ranging from totally disagree to totally agree, containing 5 questions. It is understood that this research is currently exposed to society, as it demonstrates the components used by the State to fulfill its role as a political manager, seeking partnerships with the Third Sector. Concerning the results obtained, one can clearly see the importance of the Third Sector for society, and that despite not having, for the most part, the structure to provide quality service and availability of resources for its effective performance, respecting legislation as distilled.
