SIZING OF A SEWAGE TREATMENT SYSTEM FOR THE DISTRICT OF TINGUÁ LOCATED IN NOVA IGUAÇU-RJ

Résumé

A universalização do saneamento é um dos aspectos essenciais para o desenvolvimento sustentável. Este artigo apresenta os resultados do dimensionamento de um reator UASB (No inglês: Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket Reactors), seguido de um filtro anaeróbio de fluxo ascendente para uma estação de tratamento anaeróbio de esgoto sanitário para o bairro de Tinguá, Nova Iguaçu/RJ. Inicialmente foi realizada uma projeção populacional do distrito para um período de projeto de 25 anos, seguida do cálculo das vazões de efluentes domésticos do projeto.

Abstract

The universalization of sanitation is one of the essential aspects for sustainable development. This article presents the results of the design of a UASB reactor (In English: Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket Reactors), followed by an anaerobic upflow filter for an anaerobic sewage treatment plant for the neighborhood of Tinguá, Nova Iguaçu / RJ. Initially, a population projection of the district was carried out for a 25-year project period, followed by the calculation of the project's domestic effluent flows.
