Abstract

This article analyzes the foundations required to transform artificial intelligence-based systems into functionally viable professional tools in complex organizational environments, using the development of Software Humor as its analytical reference. The study is based on the premise that the consolidation of artificial intelligence as a professional-use instrument does not depend solely on algorithmic performance, but rather on the articulation between technical infrastructure, context of use, usability, functional intelligibility, and compatibility with the human and procedural dynamics of the organization. Methodologically, the study is characterized as applied research, with a qualitative approach and exploratory-descriptive objectives, developed through bibliographic review and case study. The analysis showed that the construction of professional AI tools requires a multidisciplinary approach involving technical, psychological, managerial, and operational competencies, as well as successive adjustments between the system and the concrete conditions of use. The case of Software Humor demonstrated that the viability of an intelligent application in a commercial context depends not only on its ability to recognize emotional and behavioral signals, but also on its capacity to convert such recognition into useful decision support, operationally understandable language, and formats consistent with the actual workflow. The results indicated relevant interpretive coherence, practical usefulness for sales monitoring, and potential to reduce uncertainty in commercial interactions, although there is still insufficient statistical evidence to claim a conclusive impact on conversion rates. It is concluded that the transition of artificial intelligence from technological demonstration to applied professional tool requires integration between technology, process, user experience, and organizational context, which constitutes the main challenge for the consolidation of intelligent solutions in the world of work.
